Ballymena Business Centre has launched a new Republic of Ireland export programme.

TRADELINKS has been designed to help you explore new market opportunities in the Republic of Ireland. You will be allocated an experienced mentor who will assist you investigate trading in the Republic of Ireland and help you develop your export capability.

TRADELINKS is a partnership initiative between Enterprise NI, the network of Local Enterprise Agencies, and the Border County Enterprise Boards and is funded by the European Union's INTERREG IVA Programme.


LATEST NEWS - New Eastern European Export Programme Launched

Ballymena Borough Council are launching a new trade development programme to support local businesses to export to Central and Eastern Europe, including - Poland, Romania, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia.

The programme is targeted at owner/managers of small to medium sized businesses in the Ballymena area who are interested in exploring new business opportunities in this part of Europe.

The programme managers, Lestas Consulting, will work with each business owner/manager to decide on the best Central or Eastern European market for the product/services that you offer and will develop an individual itinerary for a market visit in Feb/March 2010.

As the project is part financed by the European Regional Development Fund under the European Sustainable Competitiveness Programme for Northern Ireland along with a substantial contribution from Ballymena Borough Council the programme will cost each business just £150 (ex VAT) including flights and accommodation.

The programme will commence in January 2010 and run to April 2010 with a market visit in February/March, 2010.
